TRM Shows New Buffer at Autopromotec
“After several years of uncertainty, we are once again seeing an increase of interest in the retreading business,” said the company.
The focus of attention on the company’s stand in Bologna was the Eagle Truck 3000, which is claimed to be the most advanced fully automatic buffing machine available in the market, and which ranks at the top of the Eagle Truck range of equipment.
According to TRM, visitors to the show really appreciated the massive machine structure, the weight of which was eight tons, and the huge hanging buffing head that keeps the machine floor fully free from mechanical sliding parts and avoids any contact with rubber dust.
The machine has been developed inside the technological partnership with German retreader RIGDON GmbH, one of the biggest independent retreaders in Central Europe. Among the machine’s innovations is a dynamic belt detector that covers the full casing surface during the buffing operation.
