Tipler recently carried out sales and product training for the commercial team of Marques Pneus, from Sumaré/SP.

Held in the last week of April, the training was given to 12 professionals from the retreader, with the aim of promoting the qualification and technical training of the sales team, thereby helping them to increase market share in the region, which has high volume of road fleets and some concentration of tyre repair shops with a high flow of tyres for retreading per month.
“The training was very important because it improved the quality of sales and expanded the training of salespeople,” commented Isaias Moreira, owner of Marques Pneus. “It is also essential to steer the salesperson towards more technical/consultative sales and not just relationship-based sales,” he added.
Elza Nascimento, commercial manager of Marques Pneus, was one of the 12 professionals who participated in the training given by Tipler and evaluated the programme as very productive. For her, what drew the most attention in the content passed on were the comparative analyses of products and the equivalent ranges offered by competitors.
“What we’ve learned will help a lot in our daily lives, especially in terms of price negotiation and guidance on the specific treads to be applied”, she said.
