Promotec srl, the organisers of Autopromotec, and Retreading Business Ltd, the publishers of the specialist trade magazine Retreading Business, have announced they are to jointly organise a half-day conference on “The Future of Retreading.”
The Future of Retreading
The event will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 22 during the first day of the Autopromotec Exhibition. The conference, which will be moderated by Retreading Business Publisher David Wilson, will take place in the Notturno Room, located in Block D within the Bologna Fair Ground.
The organisers are pleased to announce that the Keynote Speaker at the conference will be Harjeev S Kandhari, CEO of the Dubai/London based Zenises Group, who last year acquired the leading UK-based independent retreader, Vacu-Lug. Kandhari will be able to offer his perspective on entrepreneurship in the retreading industry, his views on the future of retreading and his reasons for investing in the retreading sector.
Also speaking at the conference will be a plethora of well-known speakers from across Europe who will discuss a number of key topics including;
– The current and future impact of the Chinese tyre industry on the retreading market
– The role of Automisation in the retreading industry and the contribution of the equipment manufacturers to that trend
– An update on the latest activities and special projects of AIRP
– New perspectives on how the retreading industry can market itself more effectively.
Retreading Business Publisher David Wilson commented; “our aim with this conference is to attract speakers who can offer some insights into issues affecting the retreading sector from a new perspective. We hope that this event will offer some valuable food for thought to retreaders now looking to take advantage of the new reality in the retreading industry following the changes that have taken place over the past year.”
Promotec srl Director Renzo Servadei added; “Autopromotec has always been a key event for the European retreading industry. We are delighted to be collaborating with Retreading Business to provide this thought-provoking conference, which we believe will provide considerable added value to retreaders planning to visit Bologna this year.”
Attendance at the conference is free of charge. Limited spaces are available on the day, however, to avoid disappointment, interested parties are advised to reserve a place at the conference by registering at http://bit.ly/2UcHqJX.
