Tyre manufacturer PRINX Europe has expressed immense satisfaction with their participation in The Tire Cologne.
Contract Signed with Marangoni at the Trade Fair
The Darmstadt-based company showcased 24 tyres, including several new products, and garnered significant attention with their innovative stand design, which even impressed competitors. A highlight of the event was the on-site signing of a cooperation agreement with Italian materials manufacturer and retreading specialist Marangoni, attracting considerable interest.
The exhibition was a resounding success for PRINX Europe. The company presented 24 products and its four brands across approximately 250 square metres, capturing international interest. “We had a constant stream of visitors and, to be honest, not enough space. A real luxury problem,” remarked Marketing Manager David Oliva. The stand’s modern design drew in customers, media representatives, and the general public. “The very modern design of our exhibition space stood out in the crowd. We had many people, even competitors, coming to talk to us about it,” Oliva added. The flagship brand PRINX, along with Austone, Fortune, and Chengshan brands, were showcased prominently.
Managing Director Thomas Wohlgemuth shared his satisfaction: “I was on a half-hourly schedule for the whole three days. For us as a company, The Tire Cologne was outstanding.” Wohlgemuth and his team presented newly redesigned tyres in the ultra-high-performance category for passenger cars and SUVs. Prototypes for northern climates and the newly developed AU902, a tyre meeting specifications for electric buses, sparked intensive discussions in the commercial sector, with internal tests indicating significant energy savings.
“I found the trade fair to be a highly effective platform, both for presenting the new tyres and announcing our cooperation with Marangoni,” stated Wohlgemuth.
A significant moment at the event was the signing of a cooperation agreement between Marangoni Germany and PRINX Europe, marking the beginning of a close partnership following a successful collaboration in Italy. Thomas Wohlgemuth, Vittorio Marangoni (CEO of the Marangoni Group), and Marangoni Germany Managing Director Matthias Leppert signed the agreement at the PRINX Europe stand, receiving public acclaim.
Marangoni will now offer its partners exclusive access to new Austone tyres. In future, some Austone tread designs will feature among Marangoni’s retreading products, allowing Austone carcasses to be renewed with the original tread. Wohlgemuth sees this as high praise for PRINX Europe’s carcass quality and a step towards greater success in the truck fleet management segment. Additionally, the ambitious tyre recycling concept, combined with the parent company’s ESG report, underscores PRINX Europe’s commitment to sustainability.
This positive outcome from The Tire Cologne reinforces PRINX Europe’s position in the tyre industry, highlighting their innovative approach and dedication to sustainable practices.
