ITRS has announced that a tyre repair project carried out by the company on behalf of an international gold mine has managed to achieve over 7M in cash flow savings as a result of ITRS’s Tire Repair Training Services & Certification Programme.

Savings Made in Training and Certification

This, says the company, is in perfect alignment with ITRS’s mission to train the next generation of tyre repair technicians and give injured tyres a second, third and maybe even fourth life cycle, therefore contributing to a greener and more ecological environment.

“We want to do our part and we feel a certain level of pride when we see guys finish their certification and hold their certificates proudly in their hands,” explained Gilles Wauthy, ITRS’s Chairman of the Board. “For some, this is the first time they’ve ever earned a diploma. It really gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment, and they take this with them to work each day. They take great pride in what they do and the role they play in creating a greener tomorrow.”

This news comes in the wake of the company’s many recent initiatives and accomplishments, including the development of the newly revamped and improved training and certification programme, the onboarding of their new senior management team, the rebranding of the company logo to better reflect their mission and vision, and the launch of new website that matches their new approach.

“It feels like everything I’ve been working to build over the past years is now coming together with such ease,” said Wauthy. “The team is stronger than ever, our vision clearer than ever and we’re excited to continue assisting the world with its tyre repair needs.”

International Tire Repair Solutions has been in operation since 2007 and was acquired by Gilles Wauthy in 2012. He later welcomed his partners, David Dandeneault, Gabriel Boutet, and Jean-Félix Lavallée, and today, they focus on growing the training centre and certification programme that’s available worldwide.  They have created a veritable one-stop-shop destination where they manage absolutely all learning and certification needs as well as offering anything and everything customers need for tyre repairs, section repair, retreading, etc. Over the years, they have acquired a specialisation within the mining sector and have developed products specifically adapted to their oversized reality and specificity. They also offer a range of high-quality parts, tools, and equipment at competitive prices.
