During 2015 Vipal carried out a series of relationship and communications actions aimed at developing its relationships with a number of European clients and increasing the visibility of the Vipal brand. Originally starting in Spain, the project now includes one more partner, the retreader São Mamede, located in the city of Guimarães, near Oporto, Portugal.
São Mamede has long been a partner of Vipal, and was a client even before the Brazilian retread materials manufacturer opened its European office in 2005. For its owners, Jorge and Eugenio Pereira, the quality of Vipal’s product and service are of vital importance to the retreader and this action is meant to further reinforce the relationship between the two companies. “This year, with the partnership we’ve developed with certain retreaders and our technical and business action plans, São Mamede chose to put the Vipal brand in its visual identity,” says the Manager of Vipal Europe, Alessandro Campos.
In addition to visually communicating its partnership with Vipal, the project includes awareness actions for transport companies. The service, provided by Vipal’s own team, promotes the financial and environmental benefits of tyre retreading, and emphasises that, when the brand’s products are used, fleet owners spend less on fuel.
