On September 14th, during the Annual Industrials Reunion (RAI), Galgo was presented with the “Ethics and Values in the Industry” award in the Big Mexican Companies category, by the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United States of Mexico (CONCAMIN). Present at this event were prominent public figures including national economy opinion leaders, legislative representatives and executive branch members including the Mexican President.

Ethics Prize for Galgo

The award is presented to companies that have achieved a high level of compliance within seven target areas defined by CONCAMIN. These areas include: human rights, work relationships, environment care, illicit business prevention, organisational philosophy, organisational civility and responsible marketing. The process of choosing a recipient for this award is overseen by the Caux Round Table (Mexico), an international organisation that serves as an impartial participant in the review process to ensure the overall selection process remains impartial and transparent.

“Receiving this award is a great honour and demonstrates Galgo’s unwavering commitment to adopt and employ ethical business practices and high standards and values,” said the company. “In addition, it shows that Galgo displays a great deal of respect for its people, the community, and the environment, and further validates our ongoing efforts to continually work for the benefit of the greater good, promote corporate social responsibility, and develop win-win relationships.”
