Vulcan Vulcap Industries has announced the appointment of Jorge Heredia to their growing team as the company’s new Sales Manager. Heredia has over 20 years of experience in the tyre repair industry specifically within fleet management, technical services, and retreading.
Jorge Heredia Takes on New Role
Vulcan-Vulcap Industries, a global manufacturer headquartered in Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada offers a range of section repair mould systems and vulcanisation equipment and has sold over 10,000 machines in North America alone.
“Considering the shortage of tyres projection and the current atmosphere, we feel is the best time to push forward our tyre repair products, and Jorge has the experience to support and develop new distribution channels” said Gilles Wauthy, president of Vulcan Vulcap Industries about the newly created function.
For almost a decade Jorge Heredia worked for Grupo Hylsa, one of the largest distributors of Bridgestone in the Caribbean, where he held several positions, including Retreading Plant Manager BANDAG and Technical Manager of the biggest fleets in DR serving mining, agricultural, commercial and passenger.
“My combined experience as a user and then a supplier provides me with a comprehensive knowledge of the business, which allows me to understand the needs of the client in order to provide an ideal solution” commented Heredia regarding his new role.
“We continue with our market expansion plan, as we believe now more than ever in the relevance of tyre repair” concluded Gilles Wauthy.
