New DV-MM tread an Exclusive Design from Vipal

A brand-new tread with a new and exclusive design from Vipal, the DV-MM, is now available. Made of a compound with a balance of properties, it provides excellent performance in on-road and off-road conditions. Furthermore, it offers greater resistance to chipping and puncture, which promotes greater protection for the casing, enabling a longer-lasting retread and greater performance.

Vipal Continues Innovation

The DV-MM features a special groove and ejector design with an above-average capacity that prevents the retention of stones and other objects, provides better evasion of water and mud, facilitates the tread self-cleaning, and preserves the tyre casing. The blocks, designed to improve balance and stability, promote the reduction of irregular wear, while the transversal grooves in the blocks provide moderate traction.

The result corresponds to what the fleets need most: a tread with greater resistance to stone drilling, breakage and damage caused by sharp objects, suitable for trailer axles and moderate drive axles, and packed with excellent mileage performance. “Vipal has always invested in innovation and technology. We believe that this is one of the secrets to maintaining continuous development, creating more efficient products and processes to meet the demand of the global market,” highlights Leandro Rigon, International Business Director at Vipal Rubber.

The new addition to Vipal’s tread portfolio was launched during Pneushow, the main trade fair for the tyre retreading segment in Brazil, held between June 26 and 28 in São Paulo (SP). The dimensions and other technical information for the DV-MM are available on the Vipal website.

A leader in commercial tyre retreading in Latin America and present in more than 90 countries, Vipal is one of the commercial tyre retreading companies with the largest production capacity in the world, recognised for its excellence in products and technical services. Operating in Europe since 2006, it has a subsidiary in Valencia, Spain, and distribution centres in England, Spain, and Slovenia, which are responsible for serving African and Middle Eastern markets.
