          Retreading Business attended the exhibition to learn about the latest developments in the sector and the future plans of manufacturers and suppliers. This year’s edition of the Tire Tech Show in Hannover included 220 new exhibitors and welcomed a total of 130 speakers during a three-day exhibition, in which we had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments, trends and technologies regar- ding tyre retreading and recycling by some of the main players in the industry.
VM RUBBER AND MAE
First of all, we had a talk with Camilla Raffaelli, Sales and Marketing Manager of VM Rubber, who provided her insights on the positio- ning of the company, its collaboration with MAE, and the future
developments and product launches that we can expect from them.
According to Raffaelli, there is a search for higher quality when it co- mes to products such as envelopes. Nowadays, some companies are              the price of products derived among other things from the pandemic. In fact, with the increased costs of energy, materials, and human la-             “Up to 3 or 4 times in 12 months” as Raffaelli put it.
The company started by producing both inner and outer envelopes, in order to achieve the same positioning as major players in the mar- ket. They wanted to offer a high-quality product but knew it would be risky to do so without lowering the price.
