Andrés Stabile In the Uruguayan tyre retreading sector in Uruguay, Puma, based in the city of Mercedes, has been the market leader for more than 10 years, with ISO 9001 certification from the Uruguayan Institute of Technical Standards (UNIT), which ensures the quality of the tyre retreading process. According to the current general manager, Andrés Stabile, who has been with the company for over five years, 2022 was a particularly good year for the company, with a significant increase in sales being achieved due the company’s ability to react to changes in demand.
