He then got the job of Sales Manager in Ghabour Auto, the Volvo Trucks division before joining Triangle Group as the After Sales Ser- vice Manager for Renault Trucks. We asked Elkaweel why he took the challenge of investing personally in the tyre retreading business in Egypt, when he was well aware of the difficulties and the challenges. “I know that tyre retreading will be an important solution for the difficulties and challenges of the new tyre sector,” he said. “Tyre retreading will solve the problems of availability and high price of the new tyres. “Already tyre retreading is part of the life cycle of the tyre for some fleets, and for sure other fleets will take on that concept. Moreover, I got an Industri- al License for my factory, which isn’t common among retread factories. However, my objective is to create the right con- ditions for when the day comes, and my kids take over the responsibility of the factory.
