In 1998, when Jakobs wanted to retire, he asked if Hans von Someren wished to take on the business. At the hands of van Someren, Jakobs, now VS Rubber Recycling, bought 3R Rubber in Belgium. Whilst VS Rubber Recycling focused           - pings; it employs 11 staff. It processes 16,000 tonnes of rubber          annually.           - ed an operation in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
