COMPANY REPORT In the 1980s, Hans van Someren started working as an administra- tive employee with Jakobs, later becoming the plant manager. In 1998, when Jakobs wanted to retire, he asked if Hans von Someren wished to take on the business. At the hands of van Someren, Jakobs, now VS Rubber Recycling, bought 3R Rubber in Belgium.
