Each year, VMI participates in a challenging sporting event to raise money for charity. After 2 years of not being able to participate in such a fund aising event, the company was happy to be able to make a contribution to the al- most 1.2 million Euros that were raised with the Stelvio for Life event. The money raised goes to cancer research for personalized, patient oriented treatment of cancer.
VMI runners, walkers and cyclers took on the Stelvio pass in Northern Italy and climbed the 21 kilometres uphill. 24 cyclists participated in the XXL challenge, climbing the Stelvio twice from two different sides.
