In the tyre retreading sector is perhaps best known as one of the world’s leading suppliers of pre-cured tread rubber. However, the company is also a major global manufacturer of tyre repair materials, as well as supplying other accessories and consumables for re- tread shops. The company was therefore de- lighted to win the Award for the Best Retrea- ding Accessory and Consumables Supplier in a tightly fought contest against the manufac- turers of some of the world’s best known tyre repair and envelope brands.
In winning this award, Vipal were the on- ly company who were able to pick up their award at both Award ceremonies. The award was initially presented to International Bu- siness Director, Leandro Rigon at The Tire Cologne, but then shipped down to Bologna so the award could also be re-presented to Fabricio Nedeff, Vipal Europe’s Commercial Manager in the presence of attendees at Au- topromotec.
Awards, Vipal won all three categories in which it was nominated: Best Tread Rubber Supplier, Best Tyre Retreading Equipment Supplier, and the Best Retreading Industry Innovation with its “Eye Control Technology.”
According to Rigon, being recognised again in the Recircle Awards this year is due to the excellence that Vipal constantly seeks. “The Recircle Awards is an important initiative for
disseminating and recognising good practices in the circular economy, the new and retrea- - gh recycling,” he commented. “We are very proud of the recognitions granted by Vipal of an industry that has, by nature, the essen- ce of the circular economy and of a company that values to supply the more than 90 coun- tries where it operates, with quality and te- chnology, which meet all the requirements so that the tyres have the maximum use and the lowest possible environmental impact.”
