overall tyre costs of around 30% within the first contract year. “Currently, we are operating about 30 tyre management projects across India with clientele including Reliance, Bokoro, Tata Steel, Vedenta, Hindustan Zinc etc. We hope to add another 5-10 customers and increase the tyre management projects to 35-40 projects by end of this year. We are in touch with more mining companies and hope to attract them as customers,” he assured. The company offers Total Tyre Management Services to all the HEMM (Heavy Earthmoving Machinery) equipment for large mining operations globally. On asking about tyre management services offered in the international market, Sahil said, “We have also been serving a mining client based in Lusaka, Zambia from 2007.”
The services it offers includes OTR tyre bay management, OTR tyre retreading (Up to 57" Tyres), on-site OTR tyre repairs, OTR tyre maintenance services,
site, OTR tyre tracking with records all integrated to reduce OTR operational tyre costs and increase overall OTR tyre life.
New OTR brands to be offered soon

Waidhan Investing in New Mining Tyre Facility

“We are investing about INR 7 crore in the first phase and another 3-4 crore by the middle of 2021 with a cumulative investment of more than INR 10 crore,” added Waidhan. The new unit is planned to achieve the retreading and repair of
350 tyres per annum initially, rising to 1,000 tyres p.a. in the second phase.
Currently, the Indian
TBR tyre sectors, the Korba facility focuses on TBR and light OTR tyres only. Currently, the three operational units retread about 11,500 tyres annually.
Waidhan Engineering & Industries Pvt Ltd (WEIPL) is setting up a new mining tyre retreading facility in Singrauli in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The new site will be spread over 80,000 sq ft
and will be dedicated to both ultra-large OTR retreading and repairing.
