RECIRCLE AWARDS 2021
“We are keen on spreading our technology worldwide to fulfil the mission of providing customized, efficient and heavy-duty advanced recycling technology
to the world, along with spreading awareness about its environmental and economic benefits.”
– Jignesh Kundaria
Fornnax
Based in Ahmedabad, India, Fornnax Recycling Technology is a fast-growing manufacturer of tyre shredding equipment and
granulators, offering a range of primary and secondary shredders as well as complete tyre recycling plants.
Managed by Indian entrepreneur Jignesh Kundaria, the company has expanded rapidly within the tyre recycling sector in its domestic
market and is now focusing on increasing its profile on a global basis including a sales agency in South America.
The company is scouting for sales partners in different geographies in order to expand its presence in the international market, with
Europe emerging as the major market of focus including countries such as Germany, the UK and Italy. Progress is also being made in
Australia. The company appointed a sales partner in Bogota, Colombia in 2017.
Fornnax is focusing on tyre recycling equipment as the company believes that unrecycled tyre waste is a global problem and its non-
biodegradability, easy flammability, leaching of toxic chemicals into ground on dumping and release of harmful fumes on incineration.
“Scrap tyres pose a huge challenge in recycling and disposal due to the thickness and presence of multiple materials,” says the company. “The
proper recycling of waste tyres helps in reducing such problems by resource recovery and generate employment and business opportunities to the ever-
rising population.”
