Grupo Soledad Donates 5,100 Euros to Local Charities
"The 'Malocher' is an all-rounder,” concluded Hubertus Mönkemöller. “In this case, the tyre’s durability has not been achieved at the expense of rolling
resistance and noise emissions. This was the declared goal of our customers from the very beginning."
Grupo Soledad, the Spanish tyre retreading and distribution group and parent company of Spanish retreader Insa Turbo, has once again demonstrated its active support of charitable organisations in its region by donating 5,100 euros to Women Affected by Breast Cancer of Aspe (MACMA) and the Association of Relatives of
People with Alzheimer's of Elche (AFAE).
The symbolic act took place at the Grupo Soledad headquarters and was attended by the mayor of Aspe, Antonio Puerto; the president of MACMA, Paqui Calatayud; the president of
Grupo Soledad, Salvador Pérez; the vice president of Grupo Soledad, Joaquin Pérez and Vanesa Pérez on behalf of the group's employees.
As is traditional in the company, the money raised for these charitable purposes has been raised thanks to the Christmas lottery sale carried out by the company's employees
throughout the country. The company has donated 2,550 euros to MACMA and 2,550 euros to AFAE.
The president of Grupo Soledad, Salvador Pérez, congratulated the company's
employees: “For yet another year, Grupo Soledad workers show their most supportive side and strive to raise as much money as possible to collaborate with associations such as AFAE and MACMA, who perform such important tasks for our society."

Among the topics
reinforced by the
university's instructors with Vipal's internal audience were choosing patches; main occurrences with commercial tyres; how to reduce post- vulcanisation losses; most common damages and wear on agricultural tyres; Eco Treads; tread testing methodology, among others.
The team approved of the training. “The technical refresh course provided by Univipal during the pandemic period showed the importance that Vipal gives in keeping its collaborators up to date. It´s during times like this that I realise I am at the right

Overall, Univipal registered over 220 hours of virtual training, 169 of those in the form of webinars,
German retreader Reifen Stiebling has developed a new retreaded truck tyre called the Malocher, designed for use on semi-trailers in local and long-distance traffic and especially on construction sites. The tyre was developed and produced at the company’s manufacturing plant in the town of Herne in Germany’s Ruhr area, where the company manufactures 12,000 truck retreads per year. "The 'Malocher' combines many characteristics that, in our experience, have been lacking in this combination on the market," commented the company’s Truck Tyre Sales Manager, Hubertus Monkemöller. "Now we have a product that absolutely meets the requirements of this customer group – the performance is impressive."
According to Mönkemöller, the tyre was tested in close cooperation with well-known customers from the construction
sector over a five-year period and continuously improved.
The "Malocher" is an extremely resistant tyre that plays to its strengths, especially on construction sites, roundabouts and manoeuvring.
The term "Malocher" was the result of internal brainstorming and roughly translates into English as “Workhorse”. Managing Director Christian Stiebling explains: "We were looking for a name that fits the product and our region at the same time. 'Malocher' is easy to remember, typical Ruhr area, and it also fits thematically well, because 'malochen' stands colloquially for 'heavy work'.
As part of the development process of the new tyre, Reifen Stiebling worked closely with Kraiburg to develop a special tread compound which helps the ‘Malocher’ to excel also in terms of fuel consumption.
an activity that had never been done before at the institution. Overall, 3,287 students completed Univipal's distance learning courses, 47.46% more than in 2019. For Andreia Peruzzo, Coordinator of Vipal’s university,“in addition to improving and refreshing our team´s knowledge, we took the opportunity to better understand how to work with the technologies available and test the possibility of online tools in our market”.
