    Recircle Awards 2021: Preview
Voting is now underway in the inaugural edition of the Recircle Awards, the tyre retreading and recycling industries’ recently launched annual awards event, and already more than 4,500 votes have been received across the 18 award categories that are open to the public vote, with many awards being extremely hotly contested. Here is your definitive guide to the Recircle Awards including a full list of nominees and how to vote.

The Award Categories and How to Vote
There are twenty award categories into, the nominees for which are highlighted in the following pages. The shortlists for the first fourteen of these categories were announced on November 30 and were selected by a specially constituted Nominations Committee from a preliminary list of candidates nominated by members of the public. The Nominations Committee consisted of the respective editors of Retreading Business and Tyre & Rubber Recycling plus a further eight individuals from the global tyre retreading and recycling industries selected according to their independent status and their acknowledged expertise within their respective fields. These included Michael Schwaemmlein from the German association BRV, Guido Gambassi, from the Italian Retreaders Association AIRP, Daniel Rojas from the Chilean Retreaders Association ARNEC, David Stevens, the Managing Director of TRIB, the editor of SA Treads magazine Liana
Shaw, Valerie Shulman from ETRA, tyre pyrolysis consultant Martin von Wolfersdorff and
