Marangoni Presents RINGTREAD Blackline ICE202
Marangoni have announced the introduction of the RINGTREAD Blackline ICE202, a new 3PMSF drive pattern specially designed for use in severe winter conditions on vehicles operating mainly over long distances.
According to the manufacturer,
approved for severe winter service, and the “Three Peak Mountain Snowflake” approval symbol is visible on the shoulders as well on the tread itself.
This new-generation RINGTREAD product features a bi-directional pattern
featuring a variable block arrangement, open shoulders and deep 3D siping with interlock technology, providing excellent control on surfaces covered with ice and snow, even when compacted. The wide opening of the shoulders keeps the tread constantly “clean” of any snow and ice, offering optimum traction. Meanwhile, the innovative interlock sipes assure maximum tread stability during service, to maximise traction and minimise heat build-up. The extensive reinforcing bridges on the ribs
provide stability on softer ground (snow, mud), resistance to very aggressive road surfaces (ice) and more regular wear. ICE202 is already available for tyre size 315/70R22.5, while 275/70R22.5 and 295/80R22.5 sizes will be available soon.

Vipal Presents Four New Winter Treads for the European Market
New Easy Stacker 1600 Tyre Handler from Just Easy Tools
Vipal Rubber has announced the introduction of four new treads for Europe: VT105, VT115, VL105A and VL170A. Besides expanding the brand's portfolio of designs with 3PMSF certification (Alpine Symbol), the
launches respond to a growing demand in the European Union for retreaded tyres with treads prepared to face severe road conditions, such as snow, with safety and quality.
The new Vipal treads are ideal for
VT115A
fleets that run at very low temperatures and experience snow and frozen roads, such as in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. However, they have also been widely used in northern Spain, Andorra, France, and Germany. Spanish fleets, for example, which transport to countries outside the Iberian Peninsula, further north of the continent, such as in Germany, need to have treads certified with the Alpine Symbol to run in these regions.
Developed for both free axle and traction vehicles, the new treads undergo rigorous tests to attest to their safety and achieve
3PMSF certification. The VT105 and VT115 provide excellent traction power and self-cleaning blocks. They have a special compound that guarantees good adhesion at extremely low temperatures and excellent mileage performance. The VL105A, developed for super single tyres, has sipes that provide more traction and self- cleaning. Its five grooves increase tread stability. The VL170A, also developed for super single tyres, is used in trailer and semi-trailer free axles. Due to its versatility, it performs well in both road or regional segments, at any temperature and extreme snow conditions.

expand our portfolio of winter treads. They are certified with 3PMSF, a marking that has been increasingly required for fleets to run in several European Union countries.
