Renova, which is part of the Peruvian owned Indelat group, which incorporates a number of retreaders as well as the tread manufacturer Indelband (Laminados SAC), was first established in Chile in 2010 when it carried out major repairs for the Radomiro Tomic mine. Relocating from its initial site
in La Chimba in 2010, the company developed into a key supplier to the local mining sector, supplying retreads and major repair services to the likes of Codelco as well as other mines in the area. The company achieved ISO 9001 certification as recently as six months ago.
Key to the company’s product offering is the new XT Xtratread retreading system, which the company guarantees to reduce the cost per hour in comparison to a new tyre by 40% as well as increasing the life of the tyre by as much as 80%. The system is also claimed to be the only system that can be used
