Kartindo Adds to Tread Range
Indonesian tread rubber manufacturer Kartindo Rubber, based in the city of Medan on the island of Sumatra, have introduced a number of new tread patterns over the course of the last few months.
In December the company introduced the KT-71 pattern in 230, 240 and 250mm widths. Designed for both drive and trailer operations, this longitudinal block type tread pattern offers excellent traction forces as well as good mileage thanks to the fact that the tread is made of solid blocks. These patterns are suitable for tyre sizes 295/80 R 22.5 or 315/80 R 22.5 etc.
Also new in December was the KT-21 pattern in 230 and
240mm widths, suitable for both trucks and buses in highway applications and offering improvements in mileage and fuel efficiency. These two patterns are suitable for tyre size 295/80 R 22.5.
In November Kartindo also launched the KBB-230 and KBB- 250 patterns, both of which are suitable for commercial vehicles in highway applications, especially for trucks looking for better improvements in mileage and fuel efficiency. This is an all position tread suitable for coaches, buses and trailers offering even tyre wear and stability.
