Vipal Shows Presence at ProfiAuto Show in Poland
The next step, according to TRM, will be the installation of a new mould-cure building machine, which is also expected to achieve significant performance improvements. RIGDON GmbH, based in Günzburg
in Bavaria, produces a wide range of retreaded tyres ranging from passenger car and truck tyres to large OTR tyres of up to 3 metres in diameter, as well as technical rubber products and tyre storage systems.
Vipal Rubber recently participated in ProfiAuto Show 2019, which took place on June 8 and 9 in the city of Katowice, Poland. The action was a partnership with Vipal’s exclusive distributor in the Polish market, Arko-Gum, which has been working with the company in Europe for nine years.
At the trade show, Vipal showcased its tyre repair line, which is widely accepted in the market and includes products such as patches, adhesives, vulcanising cements, MC repairs and others. According to Fabricio Nedeff, Vipal’s Commercial Manager in Europe, the trade show was very productive for Vipal because it helped strengthen the brand in the Polish market, where it is already widely known.
“Although the market in Poland is
very price-oriented, participating in this event was very positive because there is a great demand for high- quality products like those offered by Vipal,” says Pawel Chmiel, representative of Arko-Gum. Organised by ProfiAuto; a company that brings together the leading automotive wholesalers, stores and services in Poland, the ProfiAuto Show is one of the most significant events in the sector in Eastern Europe. It attracts a specialised audience seeking the newest developments in the industry while offering a programme of courses and workshops to train professionals in the field. In 2019, there were 150 exhibitors from various European countries, receiving 46,000 visitors over the two days of the event.

Investments on Track
Six months after the signing of a technology agreement between German retreader RIGDON and TRM, the first two pieces of retreading equipment have been submitted for acceptance testing at TRM’s plant in Ala, Northern Italy. According to TRM, the tests performed on the brand new Eagle Truck 3000 buffing machines significantly exceeded the performance parameters set according to RIGDON’s expectations and project targets. In the meantime,
the machines have been installed in RIGDON’s retreading plant in Günzburg. The new devices have achieved a time of just above three minutes for a full automatic bead-to- bead buffing cycle. This is considered to be an exceptional achievement for buffing a standard truck casing with remaining tread. The two companies’ Managing Directors, Günther Ihle of RIGDON and Alessandro Villa from TRM professed themselves to be satisfied with the successful commissioning of the two machines.
