Autopromotec: Product Review Sessions for the Retreading Industry
At this year's Autopromotec the Retreading Business stand was able for the first time to host a series of short product presentations by key suppliers to the retreading sector. The concept, which was designed to add value both to visitors to the show and to exhibitors, followed a plan similar to the Product Review Sessions carried out as part of the Tyre Recycling Forum at The Tire Cologne in 2019.
At Autopromotec, the show organisers provided us with a dedicated seminar area on our stand from where we were able to provide ongoing presentations over the course of the first three days of the exhibition, at the same time providing some of our regular advertisers with the opportunity to present their company and their latest products.

Alessandro Villa’s presntation gave on overview of TRM’s full range of retreading equipment and status as a comprehensive equipment supplier offering solutions to the whole industry.
Vipal
Fabricio Nedeff presented the latest innovations from the Brazilian tread rubber manufacturer including Eye Control Technology, the company’s latest Green Technology, the new Machinery Division and the Vipal Fleets fleet management package.
VMI
VMI’s Dirk Reurslag gave a shortened version of his presentation at the Future of Retreading Conference on how VMI has contributed to the trend towards equipment automation in the retreading sector.
Zeiss
A key focus of Mario Goldmann’s presentation was on how shearography can be used as a tool to secure business for retreaders.
