          Newera Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Newera has long-term agency arrangements with a number of key suppliers to the retread market, most notably Matteuzzi, B&J, MAE, SDS, Ferlex and VMI.
 The tyre inspection division of Zeiss has announced that it is teaming up with their distribution partner for the South-East Asia region, Eversafe Trading SDN.BHD., based in Ipoh/Malaysia, to offer technical support, located in the area.
In order to provide a high level of standardised technical service to clients, Eversafe recently sent representatives for a 4-day technical training session in Neubeuern/Germany, where the Zeiss technical support team were able to train the Eversafe staff. The
content of the first day was the Installation of Machines, Health & Safety aspects and Final Acceptance at customers’ premises.
The second session dealt with the daily operation of INTACT systems and software training, as well as maintenance and service topics.
Two days were reserved for practical work at machines, provided by the R&D team of Zeiss. Useful advice was given for remote trouble shooting, on-site repairs, and finally

RIGDON and TRM Sign Technical Partnership
RIGDON GmbH, headquartered in Günzburg/Bavaria, one of the largest independent tyre retreaders in Central Europe, and Italy-based tyre retread equipment manufacturer TRM have announced they have signed a technological partnership agreement to redefine the retreading process.
This collaboration is part of the future plan of RIGDON, which aims to improve the quality and efficiency of the retreading process in order to better serve the
competitive market
and customers qua-
lity requirements.
The project is based
on the extensive use
of TRM’s own
technologies like
Twin and
Stripwinding in
connection with
robotic technology
that allows high-
quality rate and mix
flexibility with
reduced labour
requirements.
Following the
principles of the
industry 4.0, all the
machines will be networked with each other in order to allow process data exchange. The machines will be able to configure themselves in an automatic way minimising operator intervention.
As a result of this, the plant will have full control and transparency for the whole process, the full traceability of products throughout, allowing better quality and a shorter delivery time to the market.
    Zeiss Authorises Eversafe to Offer Technical Support
   Galgo has continued its expansion in Europe with the addition of a new and expanded distribution centre and headquarter facility in Willebroek, Belgium.
According to Galgo, the benefits of the expansion to the retread market will include: deliveries across Europe, providing a strategic location, added value, improvement in customer service and an updated stock management system.
“The goal of this expansion is to provide Galgo and its customers with efficient deliveries and
service improvement,” concluded the company in a statement.
