Tipler Invests in Social Projects and Supports Semear Foundation in Care for Children

Galgo at Expo Foro Canapat
In March Galgo was present once again at “Expo Foro CANAPAT” in Mexico City, the major exhibition focusing on the Latin American passenger transport industry. The company was accompanied by a wide range of enterprises and the most important bus and coach companies in the world, as well as receiving visits from the main executives and decision makers of the passenger transport segment. Galgo’s attendance was well received by its customers, prospects and public in general; reinforcing the company’s commitment to always offer the best possible products with optimum quality in order to improve the profitability of both retreaders and bus transport companies, whilst enhancing the company’s own recognition in the tyre retreading market.
Galgo presented a number of new designs at the show including new sizes of the APR design such as 190, 200 & 210 millimetres wide and their Bus & Coach design which has been very well received in the bus transport market.
Tipler, a brand that for over 40 years has been a reference in the market for products for tyre retreading, is one of the project backers.
The contribution from Tipler that has helped enable the Semear Foundation were made through Funcriança with the allocation of part of the income
tax due. Thanks to the resources it receives, the Semear Foundation serves about 200 children who participate in various free activities. The workshops include activities such as music (voice and guitar), theatre, ballet, crafts, hip hop, a book club, environmental education, and sports such as judo.
Besides the activities, the children and adolescents receive snacks and access to the library to borrow books. The CVR also provides medical care with pediatricians, psychologists and social Services.
