The Sustrend programme consists of a four phase process which allows national retreading industries to create a standardisation process, which will allow the retread industry to work with national governments in a manner which will allow the industry to create carbon assets. The company has already reached the second stage (Phase 1) of the process with the Chilean retreading industry and is currently in the initial “identification” phase with the Argentian retreaders association ARAN.

Making their international debut at the North American Tire and Retread Expo in New Orleans was Taiwanese envelope manufacturer Fumu Ind Co Ltd, who manufacture a range of curing envelopes under the brand name Eagle covering all pre-cured retreading systems.
