Brazilian haulier Transpes has been voted the number one company to work for in the miscellaneous services sector by the Brazilian magazine Voce.

With over 50 years’ of experience, Transpes grew through seeking increased profitability in an ethical and responsible manner. Today the company’s fleet consists of more than 300 tractor units and around 780 trailers, demonstrating its capacity and importance in the sector.
Headquartered in Betim / MG and with 20 branches located in all regions of Brazil, the modus operandi of Transpes meant that suppliers also shared the same values, and so, for 18 years Recapagem St. Helena, a Tipler dealer, has done a solid job with the company.
Recapagem St. Helena has serviced the fleet for many years using Tipler technology. The main tread line used
for the fleet has been the RT74 Ultra Line, synonymous with mileage and safety. This tread has an "A" standard in braking on wet roads, according to European classification and runs on drive axles and has the load capacity required for the Volvo FH16 750CV. The result is excellent, uniting three powers: Transpes, Volvo and Tipler. The board of Transpes is very satisfied with the services of Recapagem St. Helena. "In addition to retread tyres, rapid and constant care is excellent," said Maurice Victor Santana, Procurement Manager at Transpes.
Another point highlighted is the use by Recapagem St Helena, of STAS - Tipler System Scrap Analysis, which has contributed to a significant
reduction in fleet costs by analysing the carcasses. "With the STAS, we can identify opportunities for improvement in the management of
tyres, increasing their useful life," adds the Commercial Manager of Tipler, Fabiano Fratta.
