The demonstration plant features the 240HCX CNC Buffer, AKR297 24-tyre electric chamber, AKR171 tread builder, skive stations, envelope spreaders, tyre spreaders and a complete monorail system. The DVS 1220 Casing Analyser by Raven Engineering is also featured at the facility. According to Conley, “a lot of retreaders are looking for an alternative to Shearography and the DVS 1220 offers a solution that fits the U.S. market needs perfectly.”
“We were encouraged by the attendance and overall positive feedback” says Conley. “We plan to hold a similar event in March 2016 on an even larger scale.”

Demonstration Facility featuring equipment from Akar Makina. Visitors enjoyed a full tour including live demonstrations of the CNC buffer, the fast cure chamber, and the differometry casing analyser. New products were also on display including Shamrock’s QR Envelope Tracking Technology, Licorice Strip Repair Rope, Low Profile XL Rubber Wick Pads, and the J-Hook Striping Envelope System.
