First Conti Hot Cure Produced
Christian Sass, head of truck tyre retreading EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) says "Premium retreading contributes significantly to the fact that fleet operators and freight forwarders can reduce tyre costs by up to 25 per cent and so as part of our ContiLifeCycle generate the overall lowest cost of ownership. These offer an improvement over new tyres as they lower consumption of valuable resources such as natural rubber reduce energy consumption by up to 70 per cent."
Like all Continental truck tyres, the new ContiRe EcoPlus HT3's has Conti’s patented AirKeep inner liner to protect against
creeping pressure loss. Moreover all ContiRe retreads benefit from the same manufacturer warranty as new tyres.
Continental has announced that the first hot retreaded versions of its Conti EcoPlus tyre range are now being manufactured at the ContiLifeCycle plant in Hanover. The ContiRe EcoPlus HT3 is the retreaded version of the company’s third generation trailer tyre Conti EcoPlus HT3. The tyre’s newly adapted polymer rubber compounds for treads and sidewalls, its stable, closed shoulder belts, and the improved tread concept "Plus Volume Pattern" are claimed to significantly improve both rolling resistance (with a decrease of up to 26 percent) and the handling characteristics of the new tyre.
The optimised grip in the newly adjusted tread compound transfers the trailer's cornering forces and high share of the braking torque to the road. In addition, pyramid-shaped triangular ribs integrated into the base of the tread groove stabilise the trailer tyre against flexing in the tread width.
As with all Continental truck tyres, the new ContiRe EcoPlus HT3 also features Continental’s patented AirKeep® innerliner to prevent gradual loss of air pressure. All retreaded ContiRe tyres also benefit from the same manufacturer guarantees as for new tyres.

Vipal Flood Relief in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Vipal, who have been present in Bosnia and Herzegovina for over 6 years, could not remain indifferent at the consequences of the devastating floods that severely affected the northern part of the country in May 2014.
Vipal helped five families from the city of Bosanski Samac, who for the second time after the war in the 90s, literally lost everything again.
With the purchase of 300m2 laminate floor and other basic life necessities, Vipal helped these families rebuild their lives. This, says the company, is all part of Vipal’s belief in the welfare of the society in which it operates.
Vipal says it is very committed to sustainable development. Learn more about these projects at: http://www.borrachasvipal.co m/sustentabilidade/en
