Retreaders are forced to offer up to three months credit and that is a real challenge.” ARW forayed into retreading about a decade back. It has been in the business of buying and selling casings for the last two decades.

The company entered the market with the hot cure process and later forayed into the precure version, being introduced by Euro Tyres to GIIB recently. “We are planning to double the
precure capacity and we are looking for equipment from either Malaysia or a domestic supplier,” Thapana said. When asked for any specific reason for expanding the precure capacity, he replied, “A lot of precure business comes through everyday but we have to turn down the business due to our limited cold cure capacity.”
The unit is a bit far-off from the business hub but still claims to receive lot of business. “We
