First Time at Essen
Dobermann Launches Eco-Friendly Ecolope
The latest innovation from Dobermann is the Ecolope, which the South American envelope manufacturer is describing as the first eco- friendly envelope. The new product is claimed to be made with 30% less oil derivatives and is softer than other envelopes. It
is also claimed to offer an increased lifespan and reduced cost per cure.
Available in a variety of colours, the Ecolope enables the operator to better organise production, facilitating the differentiation of loads.
Eversafe was a new name for Essen and the company’s stand took a prime location at the entrance to Hall 4 ensuring that everyone passed their stand on their way into the “retreading” hall. Eu Hong Lim, Eversafe’s export manager, explained that the company had visited Essen twice previously and this year had decided that the size of the show and the numbers attending made it a real opportunity to introduce the Eversafe brand to the European market.
Eu said that the company had sent some supplies to Europe and already
had a client in Germany, and was due to visit a UK retreader after Essen to arrange to supply a first consignment to the UK shortly. Eversafe recognise that the European Union is in the midst of economic turmoil and that businesses in the EU are seeking savings wherever they can. This drive for savings has opened up opportunities for lower cost retreading materials as retreaders seek to offer their clients an alternative to the premium market European brand treads.
