The retreading facility is believed to be a fundamental step for the future and Mr. Claudio Zambrano, CEO and Partner, says "We want to be the best and the biggest in the south of Chile and that is the reason that we are investing in machines and training”
Schussler has been in the tyre retreading sector for just 3 years. However, it has already earned respect from the market due to its quality and hard work. Claudio concluded "We work very hard to ensure the best of quality and by working with the major suppliers we believe that we can go even further.”
The company is planning to purchase new presses and new moulds very soon to complement the needs of the market.
   News From the
Chilean Retreading
Market
Schüssler SA is a leading company in the segment of plastics, elastomers and resins based in Concepción and with branches in Antofagasta, Santiago, Talca and Puerto Montt, all in Chilean territory, has been growing and developing its activities in the segment of tyre retreading and focusing in OTR and forest tyres.
After looking at the opportunities in the market and knowing the fast development of South America countries, the company has decided to invest in equipment and training for its retreading facility.
At the end of 2011, the company bought a semi-automatic buffing machine from Arcomaquinas in Brazil. Arcomaquinas has also supported Schussler with training for the employees over two weeks; teaching them how to operate the new machine and train company employees.
