UK retreader Vacu-Lug has made a number of key appointments in recent weeks, the most senior of which is the appointment of Jorge Crespo as the company’s new Managing Director.
Jorge Crespo Appointed MD
Crespo, who is currently Managing Director of Zenises, will replace Tim Hercock, who is set to leave Vacu-Lug in June as agreed at the time of the company’s acquisition. Crespo will remain in his current position, thereby acting as Managing Director of both companies simultaneously.
Other new appointments include the addition of two new Fleet Operations Managers Michael Evans, who joins the company from Tructyre Fleet Management and Marcus Kirkness, who joins from ATS Euromaster. Also new is Mark Holloway, who joins the company as Processes and Business Excellence Manager and brings with him a wealth of industry experience and knowledge with previous success at Bandvulc.
These appointments follow the earlier appointment in January of Perry Buckley as Fleet Business Development director. Buckley joins Vaculug after 19 years as a regional sales director at Bandvulc and 18 years at Pirelli, where he held a number of roles including that of national sales manager.
