The Comerio Ercole Group via its industrial partnership with COMERC International has become a shareholder in the Italian company SASMAC International srl, the owner of the well-known Saspol brand of precured tread presses. The news was announced on October 24, 2022 at the K2022 Exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany.
New Investor for Italian Tread Press Manufacturer
Saspol was established in 1961, when it started producing small rubber and plastic presses, eventually developing into bigger presses with higher pressure. Nowadays, in addition to the tyre retreading sector, the company is also involved in the production of presses for conveyor belts, solid tyres, rubber tracks and thermoplastic sheets.
According to SASMAC CEO, Davide Dondena, the new and strengthened alliance with Comerio Ercole, which comes after a 20-year-long cooperation on specific supply projects worldwide, “enforces the industrial and strategic positioning of Saspol’s activity, granting to all worldwide end user the necessary industrial reliability based on the strong Comerio Ercole concept based on quality and technology.”
