French passenger tyre retreader Black Star and its main shareholder Mobivia have won the 2024 Planet Award for its Leonard branded range of passenger retreads.

The award is part of the Victoires de la Collaboration event, which rewards collaborative projects that move the AFM, the largest European retail ecosystem.
“Suffice to say, we are quite proud to have been ‘the chosen one’ when the competition was tough and beautiful, with projects carried out by ultra-dynamic companies such as Decathlon Leroy Merlin, Auchan Retail, and KIABI,” the company said in a statement.
