PRE-Q GALGO Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing rubber products for various applications, showcased its offerings in partnership with its esteemed dealers at the annual Tennessee Association of Pupil Transportation (TAPT) conference in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on 4 June 2024.
Retread Safety on the Agenda
Ron Elliott, National Sales Manager for PRE-Q GALGO, expressed his enthusiasm about the event: “We were delighted to receive enthusiastic feedback from attendees at our booth, who were particularly excited to learn about the economic and environmental benefits of retreading with Pre-Q. This positive response is a testament to the growing recognition of retreading as a cost-effective and sustainable solution. Our retreaders use premium Pre-Q tread rubber and strictly adhere to high standards and specifications for the retreads they produce. Some attendees expressed concerns about the safety of retreads, stating that they only purchase new tyres. In response, we proudly represented the entire retread industry by pointing out that retreads are used on aeroplanes, school buses, ambulances, fire trucks, large and small fleets, USPS, and parcel trucks, as well as critical applications like Air Force One, which serves as a testament to their safety and reliability. There were times when we could not fit anyone else in our booth, which is a great sign that the word is getting out that retreading is indeed the right thing to do!”
Elliott expressed gratitude to its dealer representatives for their invaluable assistance: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dealer representatives for their invaluable help and support: Will Eells and Tony Scannell from Wonderland Tire, Ronnie Luster from Kings Tire, James Millican and BJ Bryan from Quality Tire.”
