Péter Szabó, the experienced Hungarian retreading professional, has announced he will retire after almost three decades with Marangoni.
Marangoni Representative in Hungary to Retire
Szabó started his professional career with Taurus, the Hungarian tyre manufacturer. In the early 90s he switched to the retreading industry, joining the tread manufcturer Oliver (later acquired by Michelin). By the time he moved to Ellerbrock (now Marangoni Retreading Systems Deutschland GmbH) in 1995, he already had a deep knowledge about retreading in various Central and East European countries.
Szabó lives in Budapest with his large family – wife Margaret, three children and seven grandchildren. He will finish his long professional career in the tyre and retreading industry on September 30. We wish him all the best for a pleasant retirement at the Balaton Lake and very good health.
