Bradley Ragan Jr., owner of B.R. Retreading Inc. in Glasgow, Ky., and RDH Tire and Retread Co. in Cleveland, N.C., has died in the USA aged 70.

Ragan, born in 1946, was the owner of Carolina Tire in the 1970s and took over from his father as CEO and chairman at Brad Ragan Inc. in 1979.
Carolina Tire/Brad Ragan Inc. grew to over 80 stores in seven states but was eventually acquired by Goodyear in 1999.
