With the RT-3B bead-to-bead retread, drivers will have an all-around performance choice for OTR functions, including underfoot conditions for loaders and graders.
Goodyear’s New Tyre Suitable for Tough Terrains
Goodyear predicts its new tyre can provide savings of up to 60% against a new tyre, as this tyre not only offers cost savings but has firm traction, taut treadwear, featured in Goodyear’s Total Mobility programme of trusted products and offers sustainability for a more environmentally-conscious market.
Available in the U.S. and Canada in the 20.5R25 and 23.5R25 sizes, the tyre is rubber cured and bead-to-bead. It is a low heat generation tyre and has a noticeable 115-level tread depth. It also has cut resistance and traction through its centreline lugs and open shoulder structure.
Welcoming the product to the company’s burgeoning portfolio, Loic Ravsio, Goodyear’s Globar and Americas OTR general manager said, “We are always focused on delivering high value and low cost of ownership to our OTR customers, The RT-3B is a substantial addition to our retread portfolio providing another great option for operators to help drive efficiency, reduce costs and protect the environment.”
