UK retreader Vaculug pulled off an impressive PR coup on Saturday (23 July) by hosting the launch event for Rishi Sunak’s campaign to become Conservative Party Leader and the UK’s next prime minister.

The event, which took place at Vaculug’s headquarters in Grantham, the birthplace of ex-prime minister and Tory icon Margaret Thatcher, was aired on national TV providing significant promotion for Vaculug, and a personal success for Vaculug’s owner Harjeev Singh Kandhari.
In a response to a post on LinkedIn by Sunak about the event, Kandhari commented; “So humbled that you came to Vaculug Limited to launch your campaign. We were delighted to be able to support what is arguably the most important campaign in British political history. Not only will you be the first PM of Asian descent but the youngest.”
